AME Fair was a great event so kudos to the AME folks for organizing and pulling it off. :Db
I got to meet people there, some again and some for the first time (*waves*)
MMM, I wanted to do a full con report but as luck would have it, my cam broke by the end of the day and I'm really disappointed I couldn't take more pics xD;;; But I do still have some so maybe later? (when I'm not lazy about it meh |D)


And just heard from the news that a bank robbery took place at the Bahay ng Alumni(the venue of the event) And to think that just a few days ago...

Komikon will also be there in a few weeks time, so preparing for that now...


Also, today I found time to play, guess what I picked up? Yes Nami, I'll keep my word on getting around to playing more of Odin Sphere. xDD
Doubt I'd be able to finish it soon though, seeing as I'll be busy again. xD;

Ah.... haven't been posting much lately cuz if I did they'll only end up as emo posts, one after the other. And I really don't feel like doing that. SO. I'll just talk about other people's blog. (ha?)

Posting about Megumi Nakajima's old blog entry about her trip to the Philippines and fellow Flips might find it a cute read like I did. For those unfamilliar, Nakajima-san is the voice behind Ranka(Macross Frontier) and is a half-Filipino. ARGH, I wish I could've made the Macross F part longer thoooough xD lol _{heck if anybody wants to throw their Macross F story at me, I'd be willing to draw it for you, if I have the time ;Db}
And finished printing the ad slip for Aliquo EVE(next FF7 book for Komikon). The image used was so rushed though xD;;;

Ozine Fest turned out great! 8D Arrived there an hour after they opened so I didn't get to register on the contest I want (Speed-drawing lol). Got to see the finished artbook from Nami and omg I was actually suprised it looked good (for a less-than-one-week book YAY xD). 8DDD;;; I have no idea how Nami could have pulled them together in just one day but she even put half-tones on em, luv'd how it turned out! We actually sold em out and people were asking more (thus re-printing on Toycon[?]). =3= I love you guys who bought em and those who showed interest!!! I think Nami and I have future plans in mind...lol let's see what we happens. xD;
ALSO, got to meet and re-meet lotsa people. 8D Got to see ruki_hayate and his brother, alabapoy and jeneko we're also there and other forum/DA people. Made more fun acquaintances. LOL you guys are so cute. =3= They made staying at the table so fun and worth it LOL. Meeting people makes me look forward to cons. So thank you! Thank you, you guys are made of awesome. ^^
We opened up for sketch commissions then, and maaan, did lotsa people wanted anime-versions of themseleves o____o;;;;. LOL it's not even my forte. =w=;;; But actually, I found myself enjoying drawing those later on. Lotsa sketch commision more than what I expected so we had to close early lest we'd be sketching by the end of the con. I feel bad for those we had to turn down but really, I didn't think drawing could actually be something that could be exhausting. x_x;

Also, important lesson for the day, make your sketch book work-safe before allowing people to view em...or at least hide away the yaoi practices from public view. This I realize after somebody pulled out this old Akuroku erm...pr0n...How...embarrasing. =w=; Can't even remember I had those sketches with me...lol (Said yaoi practice sketch though was sold, so not bad I guess 8D;)

Anyways, lotsa cool cosplays, luv'd the group cosplay, and one in particular (I hope somebody uploads it in YouTube lol cuz I wanna see it again xD). LOL also I was suprised to see a Fatal Frame group cuz I was recently re-acquainting(aka fan-ing over it *blames sis*) with the series so yeah hearing FF3's theme song filled me with utter glee. We actually got to only roam around the con after wrapping up our table so yeah wasn't able to see much. 8D But it's ok, they seemed fun though. I had to leave by 8 and arrived home so late and beat tired but it was so worth it. I feel sorry for Nami though who got sick and all. >: Get well yo!

Browsing the net for the kAME ulit con pics and this particular one amuses me so. It's the Zack and Cloud cosplayers I've pointed out in my previous post in a rather slashy pose. *grins* ^_^ vvv
I'm actually currently pretty hyped about making the FF7 doujinshi I've been mulling over for the past few months. Yes, suprisingly inspired. *^o^* I plan to finish that before Christmas at least and then maybe sell some before the year ends. After that, I think I'll go work on my GSD doujin which I should cuz I don't wanna abandon that project. >_> Cuz the Shinn-luv is still pretty much high~~~

I attended the kAME ulit(literally means "We Again") yesterday and it was awesome. My only qualms would be that they should've started earlier really. ^o^ Hanged out with Jenny and Michael. Of course, the DA peeps were also there and the booth looked fun.(Were you there januaryseas?) Aw Keith even gave us a free copy of his indie comics. The event went really well and the merchandises available were actually many, though too bad I didn't bring much money. I just brought home 2 posters, one of X and Saiyuki from a Shounen-ai booth. So many artist there selling prints too that I wanted to buy, I swear next time I'll buy from em guys. ^_^ I wanted a Seme/uke t-shirt but they only got the uke one. O_o Yeah Yaoi/shounen-ai is quite prominent now unlike, say, compared to the other cons. The trivia and bring-me contest were fun and i had a kick out of the Anime Karaoke contest seeing the bad one get 'gong!'but there were actually many good singers. The UPAK team were also there and I was really quite worried half the time cuz they were performing their karate stunts NEAR me. -o- Of course, the event that everybody was waiting for, COSPLAY event came and it really was great! About 190 registered cosplayers were there and I believe this is the most no. of cosplayers in any single event as off Philippine cosplay history. There were tons of Naruto cosplayers and I think there were even 2 group Naruto cosplayers there (excluding the individual cosplayers) so yeah Naruto's still popular amongst em. In contrast, I only saw 3 Bleach cosplayers(Ichigo, Rukia, Urahara) which makes me sad inside I wish there would be many more once Bleach becomes more popular here. Quite a bunch of AC!Tifa there too. Too bad no GSD cosplayes boo-hoo. I really enjoyed the group cosplays especially the ones that had skits. The Tsubasa, X and Trinity Blood groups were really good cuz they almost had full-cast and the costumes were great too. Nothing beats the Warcraft:Guild Wars though cuz of their play. Not only were there costumes amazingly detailed they even had a kick-ass skit, where else do you see Orcs and warriors dancing to the beat of "Thriller"? Hilarious as hell, I wish I had a recorder with me. Instead I only have my keitai and so my crappy-quality pics. xD;

I swear next time I'll bring a digicam with me! O_O I really had so much fun with the cosplayers who were all nice and were always up to it when posing. ^__^
We went home around 7 and the event isn't over so I really don't know who won nor did I see the bands play but it's all right I really had so much fun~
So congrats to UP AME for organizing this successful event!~
