Trying to view this in a rational and calmer manner (cannot be said the same earlier while I was venting in Twitter hahaha NERDRAGEEE) and it helps to get all facts straight first. (Still haven't come across of that copy "new rules" for importers and taxing. Why is it scarce?) Still, I would say that what happened is not just a bit 'unfair'. I may be no expert on laws but I think books and related matters should be given priority and importance and yet it seems these officials beg to differ and imposes these rulesthey pulled out of their asses to put great disadvantage for book-lovers and people who'd benefit on them. These leaves me under the impression that they are deliberately undermining laws in order to, well, reap the greater benefit themselves. Still, we wait, see where these goes and I do hope we see it to where *most* would be the beneficiary.

haha haven't updated properly since uhh that flood post. XD; Well the flood have subsided a few days ago but we still haven't returned the stuffs in the proper place. There are more storms coming thus the possibilty of flooding again. ;_; Nuu. We're prepared... but who the heck wants to get flooded again. >A<

Shows!

Heroes S1 Finale. To be exact the last 15 mins. of the episode! XD; I was channel-surfing when Hiro's face suddenly turned up, thinking its just an ep. I already saw, I stayed to watch and W.T.F. it turned out the be the final ep. ^o^;;;;;;; I HAVEN'T WATCHED THE LAST 2 EPS. YET(kept procrastinating about it for some unknown reason)!!! But I watched it anyway and *INSERT E-SCREAMING HERE* ;_____; Nathan<3
... still, I haven't watched the last eps. till now haha TwT; *still too busy* but I will soon lol, or at least, before the second season comes. XD;;;

Zombie-Loan 6. Finally got around to sitting and watching it. And GAWD! This episode gets more love from me than with all the prev. eps combined(YES that is a lot!) This episode is finally advancing the character development specially the second half. Just SQUEE!! I wanna marry the one who casts the seiyuus so bad UNF! Next ep, Onsen episode! I just love onsen episodes as they provide much crack and lulz.

Seiyuus can make me watch some series at some point for the amusement. And
I got far into Love Love? cuz I couldn't stop myself from hearing Ecchi!Miyano Mamoru. XDDD And his love interest was someone named "Yagami" so it's all wut?! to me.
Aizu Pure lacked everything that made the manga awesome. Even hearing Sakurai couldn't do it for me. The main chara wasn't perverted enough(I WANTED TO SEE THOSE PRICELESS EXPRESSIONS ANIMATED!) it's like it isn't the manga anymore. x_x;

AND...Close the Last Door OAV is one of those few yaoi anime I'd care to recc. T'was funny and not really bad(compared to all existing Y animes already out there) and I'm already biased to it by default cuz of the voice cast. <3
Ah need to catch up on other animus and dramus I actually follow(RXJ!!!! TAT). :\

AND AND croix_souillees gave me book 11 of The Darren Shan Saga Squeeee... ;-; Will read as soon as I'm free again! It might even revive my spirit to actually update my DS site(LAWLNOFREAKINWAI) or at least do some DS fanarting again~~~

Watched Harry Potter:OoP. Hm well, liked it more than what I expected. Or at least the amazing parts made up for the sleep-inducing parts (They're quite plenty! I got annoyed at how much I was yawning myself geez!). AND OHHAY I actually can tolerate the kids' actings in this film. WUH. It was pretty darn cold inside the movie house too so I can't help but look forward to the end of the film to warm my ass. ^^; (YES I KNOW I SHOULDN'T FIND SUIT!VOLDY HAWT BUT I DO! YES I DO!)

And I just saw the trailer for Dark is Rising. ;_______; LOL I'M SAD CUZ THESE OTHER BOOKS ARE GETTING FILM VERSION BUT DARREN SHAN STILL HAS NO NEW NEWS ON IT. Well, at least Golden Compass is on its way, that'll keep me afloat.

Honestly though, the only movie I've looked forward to this month is The Simpson Movie of course. XD My bro and I have been geeking too much and singing "Spider Pig" for awhile now. HAHA!
I also saw some Blades of Glory posters, I'm not really up to date to what they show or when they show some movies so I dunno if they've already shown it here but I've been wanting to watch that movie too (since Nami showed me that KH-version trailer) LOL Psst Nami, let's watch it XDDD hahaha.

I'm kinda miffed that the newest Parasite Eve installment is only slated for cellphones. I wish they'd make a real big sequel. I miss these PS1 ladies. (Regina!) And why is Silent Hill 5 going to another team?!? 8O tsk tsk. Although I'd say I'm more keen on hearing more about Fatal Frame 4.

My sis has been obsessing on dramas again. XD; She's re-watching Meteor Garden shiat again. Sometimes I get to watch the shiat too(voluntarily). Oh LOL. Any reccomendation for other dramas? Korean, Jap, Taiwan, anything good you think?

Haha Friday the 13th. I actually didn't want to go to school today and use that as an excuse *crazy/lazy*. Well nothing bad happened(though if you would count getting scratched deeply by my cat bad ;o;) though I passed like two car accidents today. SO HMMMM. I love numbah 13 though.

In my effort to stay away and delay dealing with my report (Statistics *stabs*) I just watched Eragon and it was awesome. The medieval-era dork in me revels in it and Yes. DRAGONS! <3 Saphira rocked my socks, T^T actually IMO the dragon totally owned the other casts. XD; Also needs more Roran. (Roran x Eragon? Yes? :D) LOL Is it just me or is Durza gay for the king..and can anybody explain to me why he looks different in EVERY scene. XD;
Okay, so you'll find the story in every other RPG there is but that was what made it enjoyable for me anyway. Still, I want to read the books though cuz I'm sure there were many things that were changed in the movie version and I'm sure I'll luv it more when I do. XD <3 Unsuprisingly, now I wanna continue Drakengard.

AH why is it always the books I don't read are the one who gets a film versions first. >o< Yes, I'm looking at you, Darren Shan and Artemis Fowl(whose IMDB page has yet to resurface ;;). And speaking about movie adaptation, WAY TOO EXCITED for His Dark Materials later this year. And OMG the casting. Lord Asriel...Mrs. Coulter.... *hyperventilates*

And it's fiesta here too, so I'm not so guility splurging on food. ^o^ What diet plan? LOL!

And funny thing that happened at the bank. I was just there to get some money. And man, was the lady there taking long. Now when she attended to me, she somehow called me and handed me the papers I needed and was saying something about not being able to access the other one. Now as I was going to the cashier to cash it out, I notice the money was that was written on the paper, the one I could have gotten, was like around $700 and I was like "Hoshit." O__O!!! collected my brains in a few seconds when I saw that the name was not mine. So I just walked fast back to the desk to clear the confusion. Turns out it was for the other guy. ^o^;;; lol, I may have secretly wished I could've gotten away with it haha *guilt* Nah, my conscience wouldn't handle it, that and the fact they got all my info.LOL *blames the bank lady for all this ebil tots yah :DDD*

I was browsing around my book collections when I found a new book just lying there. It was a tagalog version of The Purpose Driven Life...uhh..okay...how did it wound up here, was my first thought. O_o And as I have suspected, mom was the culprit owner of it. This book is just everywhere, literally, it almost tempted me to buy it even though I don't buy to such stuffs. *book-h0* And since it was there...I started to read it. ^o^ And was just in the 2nd page of day one when it started to get annoying. ^^;;; I must have really lost it. And because I like to challenge myself with the silliest stuff, fine I will read it in 40-days. I'm really liking the slave-to-creator's will idea there as it is related to my story. Yeah, I'm making the most far-flung use for this book.*


And.... I've finally decided to get a tablet VERY SOON. OTZ

I posted awhile back of how I'm sure enrolling this sem will be hell again? Well, guess what, I finished it half the time it took me to travel to school. *reprimands self for being so whiney* And I even managed to get Jap 11 too...and my sched is like so perfect, I only have to go to school in 2 days of the week!!! Sure, I'll be dead every Tuesday and Friday because of full loads...but the free days are gonna be worth it. ^^~~~~ *dances*

Ahhh, my legs went ded on me though after that. Three months of bumming around and then suddenly running up flights of stairs = so NOT good. Sue me and my lack of appreciation to exercise. The pain went away just now so yeah, I've been limping for the past days.

Although, finally got a Killers of Dawn. *___* They've got CdF #11 but no 10...so uhh...wtf. I thought I'd be depress after reading it but I guess I was over it, thanks to spoiler-comments all over where I post my DS stuffs. >XP

Heh, classes starts this tuesday(thnx Independence day), so I'll prolly go on hiatus online until I get settled this sem. As for absence online lately, I'm trying to save worlds before classes starts.(what's new, it's so me to get into gaming mood when there's no more free time left. XP) And...Must...Not...Get...FFXII..just yet....*restrains self...highly doubt it'll last*

Anime Reminder:

- Watch Tsubasa Chronicle in Animax. I know, why the torture? I'm just particularly curious how they'll handle the dubs for this one and besides the first ep. wouldn't hurt, a lot. D:
-Try to watch Ergo Proxy at WOWOW. I totally forgot all about the thursday-night thing last week and just when vacation already started. :\ Too bad Karin and that other anime I didn't bother remembering the title lulls me to sleep before that show.
-Catch up on Eyeshield 21. Got my brother hooked on it too. :D
-Go and watch Gintama. Liek period.

Anyway, just picked up Memoirs of a Geisha. My sister borrowed it from a friend so might as well read it. Other than that this day is just total hell from the heat. Ughh...so dizzy half the time. I thought I was gonna be sick. It's only now I've managed to be able to seat in the computer finally without getting singed by the keyboard. *turns the fan in full blast*

-Already finished His Dark Materials: Amber Spyglass, ending the trilogy for me, and now I weep because I won't ever read it for the first time again. ToT Lord Asriel x Mrs. Coulter! <3 *and they are so not the most perfect of people mind you* I like my het pairs like that. ^o^
-....And I weep more because the upcoming movie has "announced that references to the church are likely to be banished in the film.. That's like...removing almost the whole point of the books...*woe* It's not like I didn't think it would happen...but if that's the case then what's the point of getting it to screen if the whole story is twisted that it no longer resembles the original?
-Need to stop living off on fast food craps and junk foods. ~o~ Affects teh brainz0r.
-Too much sushi lately too. *o*;;;
-Shouldn't have bought a new sketch pad... not when there's test tommorow.
-I miss animes. ToT; I need a DVD player in boarding house so I can bring some animes along with me cuz if not then I shall face a horrible death by boredom. *saves up*

His Dark Materials Book 3: Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman- Finally gotten hold of it. ;o; OMG! Definitely the best among the 3 which, of course, should be because finally all the story elements is weaved and connected and all the myseteries and questions from the previous two books are revealed gradually. I'm still halfway through that is already an accomplishment considering how busy I am with other works. Already now I can say that this definitely one of the best fantasy fiction ever! Yes, waaay better than the Harry Potter people (heck, I don't deem it appropriate for comparison). It may be more targeted to younger readers but its theme is way grander that what may seem. I love its reference to Paradise Lost. The characters are just so unique in their ownselves that I find myself wanting know more about them. Of course it should come to no suprise that my fav chara is Lord Asriel, the leader of the rebellion against the 'Authority'. Even the children whose the main characters have very interesting personalities that I find myself engaged with them. The premise is so big and yet Pullman does the story in a way even a child can handle and yet an adult could appreciate and also delve into, his that good.

Keys of the Kingdom Book 1: Mister Monday by Garth Nix- Actually, I've just began reading this and so far I like the premise and the story. Interesting universe and characters though a little predictable at times. I'll pick this one back after I get through the Amber Spyglass.

Silent to the Bones by E. L. Konigsburg- Reading this was no effort at all for me. I couldn't put it down. I love well written books about friendship. The story is about Connor whose best friend,Branwell, got accused of hurting his own little sister leading him unwilling to talk to anyone, not even to his own friend. Not wanting to give up on his friend, he finds a way to communicate and reach into him despite the silence and self-built seclusion. Yep, s'good. ^^

Indeed I'm more inclined in reading books for younger-adults/children that is because their the only ones I can bear to read, them and classic book titles(this including even those books by great thinkers and alike). I really don't trust adult books to keep me hooked unto em and even though I do read some of them, I'm rather choosy. I have a short attention span so the elaborative adult books won't interest me and I really can't alot any time for them. ^o^;

Also, I was just passing over the bookstore before I went home, expecting nothing new, and got the suprise of the day to find new books from The Saga of Darren Shan series.
So now I got Hunters of the Dusk and Allies of the Night. And I just finished the first book in one sitting just now. ^o^; Dang, this series is making me love it more and more. Vampires +Fate/destiny +other yummy stuffs= Mmmmmm....luv <3*_* I wish they'd be available faster here or also the volume-type(getting em book per book is bothersome) should be available here, but we just rely on the U.S. market, book 12 hasn't even reached them, sooo...it'll take me ages to finish the series...ToT; dangsad. But I haven't been checking on other bookstores, so maybe in some obscure store I'd be lucky to find the rest of the series. (Really doesn't wanna wait 6 months in between...:/)

I also wanted to buy the final book of the His Dark Materials Trilogy, Amber Spyglass, but I didn't bring enough money with me then, T0T who would've thought they'd release new books this week?! Not me! I'll make sure to return right away cuz those Dark materials books sells like crazy and the next thing I know they'd be gone.*_*;

Like Shan's take on HP or Dan Brown's books, and how he would be thought to be as J.K.R. and stuffs like that. ^o^; *has a penchant for lurking in writers blogs than artists(outside LJ)*

^o^ I'm glad tho, because I've been waiting to get my hands on The Golden Compass (His Dark Materials Book 1) for some time now. Love it. Love Pullman. but I still can't finish it despite it's (short)length... So I hope no spoilers. heh. ^_^;
