I've always known he's such a fanboy from his past interviews but he IS SUCH A CUTE FANBOY HERE AAAGH!

-Did you play the FF games that came after VII?
Sakurai: No...since I had such an amazing experience with VII, I didn't even touch VIII. After VII's ending, I felt like everything was over, accompanied by a sense of loss...And I felt a bit sad that all of that was over. Plus, I played through the game wanting to see the end of this story, and when it really ended, it left me stunned for quite a while. I recovered by the time IX came out, of course, but still I never touched VIII.

He's quite an extreme case isn't he? *laughs* He didn't touch the rest after VII. ^^;;;; Just. WHY.

I also found it funny he didn't figure out he was voicing THE Cloud when asked to voiced Cloud in KH. And when he found out how he was freaking out. UAGHDFSO CUTE.
Guess, I also appreciate they didn't stick with the Ergheiz seiyuus or else we won't have this guy voicing Cloud to now.www

I still find the whole debate over 'koibito' funny. I personally found "beloved" to be fitting than say lover. I have no bias whatsoever but I like me some well-chosen translation. Finished all the missions the other night. Awww, now I don't have anything to help me sleep with. Nothing like repetitive dungeons/locations, actions and monsters to to get me all drowsy. 8D

Recently got my Yubinbasya/Ryo Akizuki doujins/compilations. Cuz I figured, as a ZC fan, it's almost a sin not to own any of her works. ^^;;;
I got her 3 ZC remixes and Iris, which are about 20 or so of her published doujins.

Iris is insanely pretty and also all-colored galore. *___* For some reason I missed the description and such and so I was surprised by the content. ^o^;;; Sample pages such as this and this. Very sweet stories and very sad at times. Like Stab-in-the-heart SAD. But of course you already knew that if you've already read her works. xD

In Crisis Core, it is suggested that Zack and Cloud's mom did meet, it's a cute idea and that's what the new story in the ZC Remix 3 is about.

Her stories are not without gag though(thankfully, the angst can be overwhelming sometimes). I particularly like that story where Zack turns into a lil kid and Cloud had to take care of him and such. (I lol'd when Zack grabbed Cloud's chest looking for well..breasts. and kept calling Cloud "Ne-ne".) Peach-Pit 2 is generally funny and light-hearted. :D

I'm glad Nostalgia is included in the Remix too. Top fav FF7 doujin EVAR.

(Speaking of doujins, I should really hurry with my own. Ahh ZC why can't I ever do you any justice.. .__.')

So yes, cutscenes vids have been floating around.

All the cutscenes(even the CG movies) were lip synced with the English track (I didn't think they'd bother, well hello there AC!)
They also voiced some originally only-text scenes.

Also, found it amusing they replaced Mena Suvari with the VA that voiced the moogle carrying girl(Andrea Bowen) in AC. XD See, S-E, much better.
I thought Robin Atkin Downes was returning in the role of Genesis but credit list says not.
Anyway, I find myself actually quite liking Genesis just cuz of the less association of Gackt. (haha sure he still looks like him but at least he doesn't sound like him anymore)
